ML4Industry commits to transparent data handling. This policy covers our website (www.ml4industry.com) and our platform for AI-assisted analysis of operational data, including data uploads, analysis Runs and their downloadable outputs, account and billing management, and shareable result links.
2. Information We Collect
(a) Personal Data You Provide
- Account Information: name and email, collected and authenticated through our third-party identity provider; your company is derived from your email domain
- Communication Content: inquiries, feedback, and bug reports (which may include your IP address and the technical details you submit)
- Goal/Challenge Information: operational goals or challenges
- Billing Information: payments are handled by our third-party payment provider; we store your provider customer identifier, token balance, and a record of token transactions. We do not store full payment-card numbers.
(b) Client Operational Data for Services
- Historical sensor readings (vibration, temperature, pressure, audio, images)
- Asset details and context (equipment type, sensor location, parameters)
- File metadata
(c) Information Automatically Collected
- Log and Usage Data: IP address, browser type, OS, URLs, pages viewed, timestamps
- Cookies: we use only essential cookies required for authentication, session management, and securing access to shared results. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
(d) Data About Recipients of Shared Results
When you generate a link to share your results, anyone you give it to may be asked to provide their email address to gain access. To operate and secure that feature, we record the recipient’s email address, IP address, browser user-agent, and access timestamps. If you share a link, please ensure your recipients are aware of this.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and manage services, including your account and token balance
- Process your uploaded data to run analyses and generate outputs. To do this, the contents of your project (including data you upload) are sent to third-party AI model providers that perform the analysis on our behalf.
- Respond to inquiries and bug reports
- Process payments through our payment provider
- Communicate service updates and changes
- Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the services
- Comply with legal obligations

5. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with third-party service providers (processors) who help us operate the platform, including:
- Identity and authentication provider, which manages sign-in and account credentials
- Payment processor, which handles token purchases
- Cloud infrastructure and storage providers, which host the application and store your data
- AI model providers, which process your project content to generate analysis outputs
- Issue-tracking provider, where bug reports you submit (including the IP address captured with them) may be recorded
We may also share information:

- During a business transfer
- With your consent
6. Security of Your Information
We apply administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your data. These include encryption of stored files and data at rest, encryption in transit over HTTPS/TLS, access controls based on least-privilege permissions, and time-limited signed URLs for access to your files. No security measures are perfect or impenetrable, but we take all reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
7. Data Retention
- Account, Communication & Billing Data: retained for as long as your account is active and as needed for business, accounting, and legal purposes
- Client Operational Data and Outputs: retained until you delete the relevant project or your account, or as otherwise required to provide the services
- Log and Shared-Result Records: retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes
When you delete your account or data, we deactivate and remove it from our active systems. Residual copies may persist for a limited time in encrypted backups before being overwritten, and we may retain information where required by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

9. International Data Transfers
Our application and your uploaded data are hosted in Amazon Web Services data centers in the Asia Pacific (Sydney) region. Some of our third-party providers, including our identity, payment, AI model, and issue-tracking providers, may process your information in other countries, which may be outside your own. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable law.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect data from these age groups.
